Geography
At Robert Clack geography is taught to all pupils in years 7 to 9 and as an option at GCSE level. There is also the option of taking A-Level Geography.
Geography at Robert Clack provides learners with a clear idea of how our earth works and how the actions of people play a fundamental part in the preservation of our planet.
Key Stage 3
In years 7 to 9 learners study a wide range of places and themes both locally and globally. We study issues affecting our local area, the British Isles and even study far away places such as Italy, Brazil and Japan. Geography at Key Stage 3 provides clear cross curricular links to other subjects such as Science, ICT, Mathematics, Citizenship and History.
Key Stage 4
At GCSE level learners make detailed case studies of both local and global issues. They undertake an Environmental Assessment case study of the Lea Valley which provides the opportunity for fieldwork. Environmental issues are also investigated.
