Latest News

The Robert Clack Association (RCA) held a successful “Fun Day and Table Top Sale” on Saturday 18th September 2010 at the Green Lane site.  The weather was wonderful and enabled the whole event to take place on the front field.  There were an array of activities on display including “Hook a Duck”, “Gladiator Challenge”, “Balls in a Bucket” and “Army Assault Course” as well as a large number of people selling items from their tables.  A great deal of thanks go to the large number of hardworking members of the RCA who helped organised the superb event and the fantastic caretaking staff at lower school who helped enormously in enabling the event to run so smoothly with its organisation.

A big thank you to all those who helped on the day and before and after (including the Year 12 and 10 pupils) and those in particular, who supported it by attending!  We  managed to raise a fantastic £587.00 which we will look to invest in subsidising important extra – curricular trips for our pupils

The Robert Clack Association (RCA) was formed to raise funds for our school.  Over the past few years it has raised thousands of pounds to buy additional resources and to support curriculum trips to places such as Indonesia, Honduras, Canada, Barbados, France and Poland.

Parents and teachers have worked together to put on a wide variety of fundraising events e.g. quiz nights, discos, fashion shows, grand draws and table top sales.

The committee meets every month and provides an informal yet valuable link with the school.  The members attend events such as Parents Evenings, Presentation Evenings and New Intake Evenings so please feel free to come and talk to us to find out what the PTA is all about.

PA Support

Each year the PA always requires additional volunteers to replace parents whose sons/daughters are leaving the school or, are not currently able to offer support due to other commitments. More...

The personal development and well-being of students are outstanding. Underpinning the school is the all-pervading atmosphere of respect between students and adults. Students enjoy school immensely and show this through their exemplary behaviour and respect for each other. Their spiritual, moral, cultural and social development is outstanding. They are very keen to be involved in the school's wide range of activities, including some which reflect the school's science specialist status.
