This month, the Year 12 and 13 Religious Studies pupils had the opportunity to attend a prestigious A Level conference. It took place in a beautiful Cathedral at the heart of Central London.
During the trip, students had the opportunity to attend face-to-face, subject-specific events led by leading experts in their fields. These sessions were designed to make a significant impact on their learning outcomes. Topics ranged from life after death to the status of an embryo.
Students were able to engage directly with renowned scholars, gaining valuable insights and perspectives that enriched their academic experience. One scholar the pupils had the chance to meet was Professor Daphne Hampson. She is a well-known speaker who is integral to the A Level RS exam specification.
The event proved to be an exceptional opportunity for students to learn from top-tier academics, offering them a unique and impactful learning experience. Thank you to Mr Carter and the RE department for organising this trip!
