Over the last few terms the boys have grown from strength to strength, still finding their feet with the glorious game of rugby. Week in week out pupils have been attending our regular rugby program on Saturday mornings. The year 7's have played a whole host of games, totalling up to 15 fixtures which include St Benedict's, Beths, Saffron Walden, Campion and UCS. Last week a group of 16 pupils played at the annual Essex Rugby Festival held at Brentwood School. The boys had a tough group with Westcliff, Southend High School, New Hall School and Coopers Coborn School. The boys played some incredible rugby narrowly losing to Westcliff School who topped the group with 4 wins on the day and drawing the other games with some respectable rugby being played.
The boys still have many fixtures to come over the next term and a half, this cohort have great potential and progressing in the right direction.
