It is a great privilege to be leading an excellent cohort of pupils as they begin their journey at Robert Clack School. Having come to the school myself I know the transition from primary school to secondary school can be a challenging one. But it holds an excellent opportunity to focus on new beginnings.

Being successful is what we will encourage the students to strive for. As the year progresses the year group will grow in strengths and be celebrated for those during our assembly periods. We will celebrate their achievements in subject areas, extracurricular activities, and creativity.

The transition to a new school can be a difficult one. Due to this, we have a motto to help out year groups settle in. That is to be BRAVE.

  • Behave
  • Responsible
  • Attitude
  • Virtuous
  • Effort

We have found when pupils abide by those expectations positively they flourish into the young people we can all be proud of. It is with great pleasure that we welcome your children into Robert Clack school and the beginning of their school journey.

Lymington Fields

Mrs A Sloan (Head of Year)

I am extremely privileged to be responsible for leading your child in their transition to secondary school. This is the start of an exciting journey that I am delighted to begin at our Lymington Fields site. As an experienced Head of Year I look forward to working in partnership with parents and guardians as we embark on the beginnings of your child’s education and transition to Robert Clack School.

This is a vital first step in to secondary education which can seem both daunting and exciting at the same time. I hope that all pupils will embrace the BRAVE mantra which will help them take on the challenges of school life and build on vital qualities of resilience, determination and commitment. I therefore encourage this incoming cohort to seek out challenge and to be ambitious in creating the next chapter of history at our growing Lymington site.

My vision for this year group is to help foster and grow a caring and compassionate community. Having a strong, talented and determined community will inevitably create a successful and dynamic student body moving forward. This will feed in to progress across the wider life of the school inside and outside the classroom and fuel the achievement of the 2023-2024 cohort of Year 7 students.

I am honoured to be leading the latest Year 7 group at our new site and eagerly look forward to watching each individual grow at their own pace and in their own way. Everyone will have their part to play whether that is on the sports field, on stage, playing an instrument or excelling outside of the curriculum. This is an exciting journey and I am looking forward to celebrating the progress and achievement of this cohort in the coming academic year.
