Year 10

Green Lane

Mr A Lee (Head of Year)

I am proud to be leading this exceptional year 10 cohort through their KS4 journey, working towards excellence in their GCSEs.

Year 10 is a critical year. By embracing all of the school's values of mutual respect, compassion, discipline, high expectations and aspirations and hard work, the pupils will be able to fulfil their ambitions in life, whatever they may be.

Robert Clack is a school where we believe recognising achievements and success is of high importance, I look forward to celebrating the year group successes throughout the year.

Mr D Tann (Head of Year)

It is an honour to lead such a talented and inspiring group of students as they step into Key Stage 4. The values and behaviours that this cohort exhibit every day at Robert Clack School, show their belief in our school's ethos. Throughout their previous years at Robert Clack the students in this year group have developed resilience, confidence and a sense of community that inspires me to come to work every day - I am proud to say that I am steering them on this important stage of their educational journey.

Our school motto is 'for the brave, nothing is difficult' and I am committed to ensuring every student develops the courage to pursue their passions and interests through education at Robert Clack School. I encourage every member of year 10 to embrace the opportunities that they have to excel this year and beyond; and I will nurture their aspirations as they transition into their GCSEs next year.

I have every confidence that year 10 will continue to exemplify the fantastic behaviour, attitude to learning, and confidence that has already made them role models for the other students in our school community. I am excited to work with the students, parents, carers and staff across what I know will be another outstanding year.

Mrs K McBride (Head of Year)

Dear Year 10 Students and Parents,

It is both an honour and a privilege to lead such a dedicated, talented, and inspiring group of students as they embark on their Key Stage 4 journey. Year 10 is a crucial year, setting the foundation for the GCSEs ahead and shaping the path towards future academic and career success.

This year is an exciting milestone. As students begin to focus more on their GCSE subjects, the choices you make, both in the classroom and beyond, will directly impact the direction you take in the future. I encourage each of you to embrace this year with a sense of purpose and enthusiasm. This is a time for you to refine your strengths, explore new interests, and push yourselves to achieve your very best.

At Robert Clack, we pride ourselves on the core values of mutual respect, compassion, discipline, high aspirations, and hard work. By living these values every day, you will not only excel academically, but also grow as individuals, prepared to tackle the challenges that lie ahead.

This year, I encourage you to take full advantage of the guidance, resources, and support around you as you move towards the challenge of your GCSEs. Remember, success doesn’t happen overnight, but with dedication, persistence, and the right attitude, anything is possible.

I am incredibly proud of how far each of you has come. The resilience, confidence, and work ethic you've shown so far have been inspiring, and I have no doubt you will continue to impress and achieve in Year 10. Together, with the ongoing support of parents and carers, we will make this year an amazing one for each and every one of you.
