This year British Science week took place from 11th - 20th March . This years theme was "Growth" . At Robert clack we celebrated British science week through a series of form time activities over the week .These activities consisted of quizzes on baby animals and what they grew up to be ,the growth of plants, where different foods grow and a particular favourite was baby pictures of the science department teachers where students had to guess who they grew up to be . These activities were all worth interform points that were tracked and added together each day .
At the start of the week every form class was given instructions and the necessary equipment needed to grow a cress plant in a egg shell in line with the theme growth. Students were encouraged to decorate their eggs and name them . Additionally they could provide an environment and backstory for their egg . In the final day they were tasked with measuring the height of their cress plant for interform points . the winners of this competition were awarded 15 inter form points
